The Catholic Church is a timeless religion handed down to us from Our Lord Jesus Christ to St. Peter, the first Pope, and handed down through the ages to our current Holy Father, Benedict XVI.
Would you like to learn more about what Catholics believe? The Catholic Church provides you with a wonderful way to learn while you make new friends. It is called The Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA).
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (often abbreviated RCIA) is the process through which interested adults are gradually introduced to the Roman Catholic faith and way of life. Children who were not baptized as infants are also initiated through an adapted process of this rite, sometimes incorrectly referred to as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIA).
